“A laid-back Athens band with a gentle country/rock crossover sound, mixing equal parts Gram Parsons, John Fogerty… rarely will you hear those old-time vocals in as pure a form as that of Stewart & Winfield…”” – Creative Loafing ~ Atlanta, GA

“They have mined a beautiful nugget of Americana…captured the lazy laid back essence of  a slower time in small town life…if you like the Americana, roots, folk rock, alternative country type of thing, then check out Stewart & Winfield.” – The Brunswick News/The Coastal Scene ~ St. Simon’s Isl., GA

“…blend their voices creating rich harmonies reminiscent of blues, folk, rock, and bluegrass styles…” – Savannah Magazine ~ Savannah, GA

Along the road, Stewart & Winfield are proud to have shared the stage with other Georgia grown acts such as Kevn Kinney, Randall Bramblett, Jennifer Nettles, Drive By Truckers, Zac Brown Band, and Lady Antebellum.  Some of the S & W song and album titles reflect their laid back, lowcountry flavor such as Bum Parade, Sandy Britches, Lowcountry Blues, and West Central Georgia.  They have performed in at least 10 of Georgia’s historic town theaters and multiple plaza shows at the Altanta Braves Turner Field Baseball Stadium.
