Jekyll Island is having a weekend long party called Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife (or W3), on April 22-24, 2016! Join the Westin Jekyll Island as it hosts a weekend of exceptional food, refreshing drink and Georgia’s natural beauty — all benefiting the Jekyll Island Foundation. W3 artfully combines coastal wildlife, beverage tastings and cuisine from some of the South’s best and award-winning chefs.
Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife kicks off on Friday, April 22 with a special live and silent auction to support The Jekyll Island Foundation. It also features an exclusive “Wine Pull” and “Whiskey Pull.” You’ll also find whiskey-inspired cocktails and culinary dishes created by some of country’s leading, James Beard Foundation award-winning chefs, rising new chefs and renowned Golden Isles and Lowcountry superstars.
Saturday brings with it a day of cooking and cocktail demonstrations. The main event takes place at the Beach Village Green. There will plenty of beverage and culinary tastings, great music from local artists and an opportunity to experience Jekyll Island’s native wildlife — from sea turtles to alligators, up close and personal!
Sunday wraps up W3 with the Grand Finale Brunch, presented by the Westin’s culinary team showcase – with champagne, whiskey cocktails, Bloody Mary bar, and some exceptional Lowcountry cuisine.
While you’re there, take a short trip to Brunswick for some Southern-coastal flavor at The Famer & The Larder. This eclectic kitchen space offers up some local favorites, grab-and-go snacks, and even some kitchen gadgets to help you up your cooking game.
