1. Pick apples

6. Road trip through the mountains
Slow your pace and travel Georgia's backroads to fully immerse yourself in the colors and character of the season. Follow the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway from Helen through the mountains, or travel the Cohutta-Chattahoochee Scenic Byway from Cohutta to Ellijay.
